Knexus visual commerce platform automatically delivers personalized & shoppable influencer, UGC & brand content to the right customer at the key moment – giving shoppers the confidence to purchase.
Knexus works with global brands such as Acuvue, Aveeno, Johnson’s Baby, Lenovo & Zyrtec.
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for new logo acquisition, as well as collaborating with Customer Success on cross sell and up sell opportunities. Knexus is transitioning from a startup to a scale up, providing a great opportunity to build something new and to shape the organisation as it grows.
Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect new sales opportunities, using all necessary channels (we don’t have a dedicated SDR team)
- Target mid-market (brands with $100m – $1bn annual revenue)
- Lead sales meetings and demos – pitching the Knexus platform and its benefits to potential customers
- Put together proposals and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Work with the Customer Success team to secure upsell and cross sell opportunities with existing customers
- Collaborate effectively with both the Demand Generation and Product teams
- Work alongside the senior management team to optimize the go to market strategy
- Lead on sales forecasting and reporting
- Opportunity to manage & grow the sales team (medium term)
Skills Required:
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS & Martech highly preferable)
- Minimum 1-2 years experience with eCommerce related sales
- Experienced selling to senior eCommerce & Marketing professionals (or similar)
- Experience selling in both Europe & US (preferable)
- Proven track record exceeding targets, closing sales with Enterprise & mid market brands
- Existing network of relationships to target
- Ownership of the full sales cycle
- Experienced in consultative sales
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with the drive, perseverance and ability to hit ambitious scale up targets

Our new business team operates based on two core assumptions…
- We can research how our prospective customers would benefit from Knexus platform before we even meet them (at product demo stage).. This means we do a lot of preparation before we even meet prospects; we don’t take a traditional B2B software sales approach, with lots of discovery initially
- Knexus platform typically exceeds customer expectations – so we look for the quickest path to get prospects signed up and using the platform
